Gospel of Grace Academy
Our Vision
Gospel of Grace Academy exists to engage students in a quality, Christ-centered education that equips and challenges students to reach their full potential spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Our goal is to prepare and inspire students to pursue learning with Christian character while positively impacting their local community and the country of Haiti with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our History
The school was established in 2016 by a group of US citizens concerned with the lack of educational options for the severely impoverished children in the village of LaDigue Matheux, which located in the region of Arcahaie about an hour north of Port-au-Prince. Over the years financial support declined, and in 2020, during the height of the pandemic, the remaining donors withdrew their support. The school Director, Pastor Franz Parent, was then led by God to reach out to us as we had worked on a few projects for the school in the past. God had been preparing us for something bigger so we stepped in by faith and launched Gospel of Grace Academy with the support of a new US-based Ministry Team.
Today, Gospel of Grace Academy has a staff of 64 Haitian teachers, 18 Staff members and 650 students in grades Preschool through 13th grade.
